Vaporizers

Question: What is the diffference between nebulizer:humidifier and nebulizer:vaporizer?

My dogs got pnemonia and they recommend getting him nebulized twice a day and said itd be better just to take him home and buy one... i live overseas and cant order online... the only thing i can find are humidifiers and can find a couple of vaporizers... which one is better?

A humidifier puts water into the air so it is not so dry. A nebulizer is a way to deliver medication to the airway.

A humidifier is used in the home or office to add moisture to the air. Vaporizers use a central heating element within the device to slowly and steadily heat up herbs or some other plant or organic material to the point just before combustion occurs. A vaporizer works by adding moisture to the dry air in your home, which means, they can acts as humidifiers too. I'm hoping that helps.
