Okay, I read the other answers, and I don't think it's as complicated as all of that. Where I live (midwest US) vaporizer, steam inhaler and humidifier are all the same thing. It's just a machine that puts moisture into the air. The inhaler probably offers some way for you to get the steam into your nose, the others are just to put moisture into the room. Anything that puts moisture into the air will help a dry nose. But if you're clogged, moisture by itself might not help. (At least it doesn't help me.) I like menthol cough drops for that. You can also get vicks menthol rub. WHich I don't like becaue it's messy, but I have used it under my nose and it helps. |
