How valid are results from smoked marijuana when compared to use in vaporizers?
This is a serious medical marijuana question and I would appreciate the input of objective health care professionals. I understand that for a person in good health marijuana use has limited health risk, but I need to know about it's effects on those with health issues. I have been researching whether or not most of the previous studies of marijuana in which the participants smoked the marijuana, because of the combustion byproducts would have different results than if the marijuana were used in a hot air vaporizer. The doctors I've ask responded with " What's a vaporizer?" . Ask this question on the marijuana forums and no one is too open to the idea there are any risk involved. While I have found a few technical papers on the subject, I don't have the medical background to fully understand them. Could someone knowledgeable in this subject offer some opinions or point me towards some comprehensible reports. In an attempt to keep things on track, this is a pharmacology question not one on the law, morals, or recreational use.
