If you need a vaporizer to run continually for a chronic problem, you should buy one or ask this in the science category. If what you need is just to vaporize a room temporarily, like while you have a cold, you can set an open pan of water on the stove and simmer it. Check on it every hour to make sure its not going dry. Also set bowls of hot water around the room. Or you can bring a kettle of water to a boil, put drops of essential oils on top (eucalyptus, thyme, lemon). Turn off the heat, drape your head with a big towel, lean over the kettle with eyes closed and breathe in the vapors, using the towel to keep outside air out. Repeat several times until you get relief. |
